Thank you! Yes you can clamp a mount to it. The drawer only extends about halfway to the back of the desk so the section where you mount the monitor doesn’t extend out. To do this safely I’d recommend adding a small piece of wood between the clamp and desk for added support. But you definitely can and it’s how I’m using now with an extra tall monitor mount with no issues. Hope that makes sense

Have you tried factory resetting the monitor? Should be in the user system tab. Try that first if not that then maybe you changed the hdmi settings on your camera?

Yes you would need to create a group in the app. for example I have one called desk and I can make all those lights in that group the same colors or themes or I can control them individually

What’s good bro. Yes it will but you have to take into account the distance you’d need to have it back from you. If you just want your head in the shot you should be good but I’d recommend a sigma 16 mm as it is cheaper, wider and more versatile so the camera can be closer to you and have more of your body in the frame. You should search up focal lengths on crop sensor Sony cameras. So a 16mm vs 35mm to get an idea of you will have enough space to mount the camera and have you in the frame. I hope that makes sense. This lens is fire tho for portraits and headshots.

go to settings>system>Volume mixer> Input choose Fifine microphone. If you choose Fifine microphone in output of your audio settings when you play videos or any sound from your computer the sound comes out the headphone jack.

How close are you speaking into the mic? Backing off can make it sound between..Are you talking directly into it or slighting angled off to the side? In obs you can add a high pass filter about 100hz -250hz to reduce the muffle. You can then add an eq and add in 1khz frequency 5khz and 10khz to dial in the sound you’re looking for. I hope this makes sense and you can consider these factors to enhance your audio. This mic does have a “podcast” sound meaning deeper bass in your voice so I’d recommend add the frequency slighting listed above to enhance your sound quality. Hope that makes sense and is helpful

Check all volumes on your computer are up because it shouldn’t be that low. Like computer volumes and inputs. If all else fails you can get a “Cloudlifter” (search in amazon) it’s a preamp that boost the signal db to make it louder.

Honestly it doesn’t really matter. I’d say over the ear headphones Fifine as makes pretty good headphone for a good price so maybe check those out. I use beats mainly because it’s my preference

lol I get you. Well growing up I always had a basement with this design like a game room, chill spot a place to have all your friends over and entertain them. My house doesn’t have a basement so we use the garage instead. We have plenty of driveway and backyard for car packing so we use the garage this way 🤷🏽

@@aquasqua oh gate is still there for when I want to use it as a garage and park a car lol right now it’s more used as a gym with a bunch of equipment. And smaller living room sitting area. It’s enough space to move a the couch closer and for 1 car

There are no vertical mounts to mount vertical but you can angle the slider vertical on a tripod and it will work as long as the setup isn’t too heavy past the weight limit so yes 😉

Where I grew up i always had a basement similar tho this setup so a garage was my only hope to keep it going lol Yes now we have a heater/ac unit we installed. We just had to cut a hole for the unit and it’s all good. For bugs we sealed up any holes and each summer we spray the entire house to keep them out. You definitely need ac for a bunch of electronics 😄 Hope it turns out better than you’d hope for

You can actually plug in usbc with the battery not connected and power this so great if you had a V mount battery or you can plug the usbc into the battery port while connected to the monitor and the monitors battery will charge up while in use. The only downside is the indicator is on the inside so you can’t tell that is charging. I tested this with a different battery at similar to this one that has an indicator on the outside and it charges while connected. Hope that helps

I’ve shot with the feelworld at an outdoor wedding a few weeks back. We shot for about 3 hours in 98 degree weather and I almost melted but the monitor never overheated or cut out. Not use how they do it but no over heating issues even in direct sunlight

Fifne am8 is a dynamic mic which usually requires more gain vs condenser mics. Dynamic mics are less sensitive than condenser mics by design, so will usually require you to be right up close to the mic to get the best possible sound (around 2-6 inches from the diaphragm). This applies using usb and xlr but if you’re using it xlr your mixer should enhance the volume. Condenser mics are sensitive so would pickup more background noises vs dynamic mics (Fifine am8) tends to block out more background noise. Hope that makes sense and helps

Thanks a lot. And that’s a great question. To me the S40 is perfect for its compact size being able to fit in a backpack. I typically use this for detail sliding shots like wedding rings, shoes, decor or product broll where you don’t need much movement. For the camera to go from 1 side to the next on slowest setting it’s about 3 mins from what I believe and I just use loop. You can definitely get away with the s40 for interviews but the S60 would be a better option to give you a few more minutes of slide direction to use to cut too. But I think the a40 benefits more for its size. If you’re fine with multiple takes in an interview s40 is a no brainer. If you’re worried about the it looping when you want to cut switching directions the s60 would be a better choice. It’s a hard one… I say s40 lol hope this helps dude

Hey no this monitor does not have a feature like that to indicate recording. You would need to view this on the cameras monitor not this external monitor. I know my camera has a start and stop record sound.

I do not have any of these models to test that but I can say as long as those iPads uses usbc the touch functionality should work. I’ve used this with my Xbox ONE S which doesn’t have touch functionality and my MACBOOK pro which doesn’t have touch and this monitor gave me the touch features on the monitor. I also tested with my Lenovo laptop that has touch functionality and it works as well. With that being said a touch iPad using USB-C definitely has to work. I hope that’s helpful

None of the super fancy stuff with this monitor to adjust the setting of the camera unfortunately like focus. But for its price there are good useful features like zooming in on the image, focus peaking and a bunch of color options and luts.

You can technically plug in an additional mic into the line in port or an instrument as long as you do not need 48V phantom power but really this is designed more for 1 mic input. The use of the second line input would be a mix from the mixer and not 2 dedicated channels in recording software. I hope that makes sense to you lol
